LeetCode is Dead. Here’s What’s Next.

Five years ago, asking someone to reverse a linked list from memory made sense. Now they review pull requests an agent drafted. This is the case for testing judgment instead of recall.

The argument runs through a working day: the team agrees priorities in the morning, every developer kicks off agents, and the job becomes reviewing what those agents drafted. From there it gets specific about the interview. Give the candidate a real codebase, a real feature and the tools they already use, then watch whether they push back when the AI is wrong; or hand them agent-written code to review and you will know within minutes. For anyone still asking candidates to pretend AI does not exist.
