Yash leads engineering at HackerRank. Here he is the candidate: two tickets, a codebase he has not seen, an AI assistant, and a real interviewer pushing back in real time.

The unscripted part is the questioning. The interviewer asks what Yash is knowingly leaving unfixed, whether another engineer could pick up his plan without coming back to him, and what in it he is not confident about. Yash finds four defects in a ticket that reported two, parks one on purpose, and then has to explain why the fix solves the problem rather than merely passing the tests. Worth watching before you try to run a round like this yourself.
