This page is the HackerRank Films supplement to the HackerRank Privacy Policy. It explains the smaller set of services used by this film library. The production wording and legal basis remain subject to privacy-counsel approval before optional tags can be activated.

What is stored before consent

The site stores only a versioned privacy choice for up to 180 days and, if you explicitly change the appearance, the hrf-theme preference. Rejecting optional use does not reduce access to the films. The consent choice is needed to remember and respect your instruction.

Services, purpose, legal basis and retention

Vercel

Purpose:
Hosts the site, serves pages and records operational security logs.
Legal basis:
Necessary to provide and secure the site; proposed legitimate-interests basis is awaiting counsel approval.
Retention:
Controlled in HackerRank’s Vercel account and subject to the main HackerRank privacy policy.

Cloudflare Stream

Purpose:
Delivers the film files and posters selected on this site.
Legal basis:
Necessary to provide the film requested by the visitor; final wording is awaiting counsel approval.
Retention:
Delivery and security records follow HackerRank and Cloudflare account settings.

YouTube privacy-enhanced embeds

Purpose:
Plays the small number of YouTube-backed films only after a visitor deliberately presses play.
Legal basis:
The requested media action; counsel must approve the final lawful-basis wording.
Retention:
Set by YouTube for the embed interaction; see Google’s privacy information.

Google Tag Manager

Purpose:
Would deliver approved analytics and marketing tags after an eligible consent choice.
Legal basis:
Consent only.
Retention:
The loader itself is not activated for HackerRank Films until the shared container passes review.

Shared tag-container review

The currently published shared HackerRank container includes the vendors below. It is disabled on HackerRank Films because its hostname and per-tag consent protections have not yet passed this site’s review. No vendor in this list is authorised to run merely because it appears in the shared container.

Your choices and rights

You can accept, reject, choose categories separately, or withdraw later through Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawal changes consent to denied, clears accessible non-essential browser identifiers and reloads the page without GTM so future optional events are blocked.

Depending on where you live, your rights may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability and a complaint to a data-protection authority. The main HackerRank Privacy Policy explains how to exercise those rights and contact HackerRank about personal data.
